Zola Kutsu

Zola matriculated in 1991 at Mzoxolo High School. He obtained his Bsc Honours in Environmental Science & Development at Northwest University. 
Zola obtained further qualifications at Johannesburg, Wits and Pretoria Universities in the following areas:-
· Design of Municipal Solid Waste Systems
· Waste & Air Quality Management
· Integrated Waste Management Plans
· Environmental Risk Assessment Management
· Environmental law
Zola also obtained his Quality Engineering Diploma through City & Guilds of London.
Zola currently serves on a number of Boards and has gained practical experience by serving as an Executive member of the People Agricultural Development Network, on a voluntary basis, assisting inexperienced farmers to learn more about latest technologies in 1992.
In 1993 he worked with the Community Development Foundation, visiting rural communities in the Limpopo Province and conducting workshops for filed workers in capacitating them with practical aspects of agriculture.
In 1995, he worked for Pharma Natura Pty Ltd in the areas of Farm Management and homeopathy medicine. In addition he was involved in environmental education in Mpumalanga doing capacity building and awareness in rural schools and communities.
Furthermore, he was actively involved in the following projects:-

  • Productive open space management

  • Project based training on environmental issues in land reforms

  • Waste Management project in Burgersfort: Tubatse Municipality

  • Pollution and waste management in Gert Sibande District



    Zola is one of the founding members of AEGS (Pty) Ltd.

    Zola is a member of the Institute of Waste Management South Africa, Institute of Project Management South Africa and the Black Management Forum.
