Mike Miles

Mike holds qualifications from the Universities of Rhodes, Natal and Wits Business School and is an attorney by training. Prior to co-founding KAMM HOLDINGS, his wide business experience was acquired through holding senior industry roles in petro-chemical, finance, real estate and manufacturing industries.
After leaving legal practice in early 1990’s, he established Engen Petroleum’s local Legal Division and held key positions in the company’s Mergers and Acquisitions, Planning and New Business, Retail and Property Divisions. Mike joined the initial senior management team establishing SA Home Loans, South Africa’s first discount home loans specialist and non-bank lender. He headed its Legal and Valuations Divisions, sat on Credit Committee, being integral in the company’s success through contributing to pioneering its launch and placement of securitized mortgage bonds.
Mike has co-founded strategic property development mixed-use focused companies in KZN, South Africa including UKUSA Development (Pty) Ltd which was the province’s first Public/Private/Partnership, negotiating the acquisition in 1998 of the strategic Lower Umhlanga Triangle from Ethekwini Metro for +R50 million.
Mike’s core business focus is mergers and acquisitions, buy/outs, venture capital and structuring, corporate governance and regulation, sourcing strategic opportunities, being fundamental to the development of key relationships with synergistic value-add sector and technical partners.
Mike is also a Director of E-Waste Association of South Africa (EWASA)
